Photo Manipulation and Ethics

  1. The main part of the story would be that if they find out that you're photoshopping your photos they can delete all of your pictures and fire you. Some photographers think its okay to delete someone or add another but its not the original photo. Most of these photographers are trying to fool us.
  2. My opinion for this kind of photo editing is unethical because its not the original and they think its okay when its not.

These 2 photos are unethical because they are changed drastically , they switched everything such as the pointing the gun at the man with the kid, turning his head the other direction and moving the man in white back so it'll look like the solider is trying to shoot the man.

these 2 photos are ethical because they aren't changed that much , the only difference is behind the girl they'res an african american in front of the guy with black stuff on his face

National Geographic Contest

I like this photo because it shows very good detail and the person who took this must have token more than one to get the perfect picture , these sea lions look like they're having fun and playing around

40 Greatest Photos

I chose this picture because a man has to remember every year that his son dies along with many others. One specific day so he pauses to give his son a little prayer.
This picture grabbed my attention because the fact that a man is down on his knees crying and praying or his son that died on September 11 and how he has to remember the tragedy is just interesting.
I believe this made the top 40 because this is one of those days that are going in history , one of those moments that you can ever forget .
